What he taught

Proctor spent six decades teaching one book. He picked up Think and Grow Rich in 1961, worked alongside Earl Nightingale at Nightingale-Conant, and built everything after that on the same foundation: the conscious mind chooses, the subconscious mind runs the show, and lasting change means changing the programming underneath. He called that programming a paradigm.

His delivery was the draw. Proctor could make a room of salespeople feel that their income was an idea they had agreed to, and that they could agree to a larger one.

What is sold under his name

The Proctor Gallagher Institute sells structured coaching programs built on his recordings, along with seminars and a consultant licence that lets buyers teach the material themselves. The books and many of his talks are inexpensive or free, and they contain the core of the message.

Where it stops

Proctor is strong on why your thinking produces your results and lighter on what to do, hour by hour, when the old thinking returns. Repetition of the material is the main tool on offer. For some students that is enough. Others finish a program inspired and unchanged.
