What she teaches

Hicks says she speaks for a group of non-physical teachers she calls Abraham. Whatever you make of that, the body of work is large, consistent and enormously influential. Phrases that are now common across the field, including the vortex, the emotional guidance scale and allowing, come from her workshops.

The teaching in brief: your emotions tell you whether you are lined up with what you want, and your job is to feel better by small steps, then let the result come.

What she sells

Hours of her workshop audio circulate free online. The books are standard paperback prices. The paid side is live workshops, cruises and recordings of them.

Where it stops

Hicks is the gentlest teacher on this list. Listeners find real relief in her material. The common complaint is the one you hear about the whole field: people feel better and their bank balance stays where it was. There is little here on goals, action or what to do with a stubborn opposing thought beyond easing off it.
