What he teaches
Cardone came up selling cars and then training car dealerships, and that is still the strongest part of what he offers. His sales material on follow-up, handling objections and closing is direct and usable the next morning.
The wider message is volume. Most people, he argues, underestimate the effort a goal takes and set the goal too low to stay interested in it.
What he sells
The 10X Rule is the cheap way in and says most of what the events say. Cardone University is a subscription library of sales training. The conference is a multi-day event with a long list of guest speakers and tiered ticket prices. Cardone Capital is a separate business that raises money from the public to buy apartment buildings, and it should be judged as an investment and not as training.
Where it stops
Effort is the whole answer here. For a salesperson who is coasting, that is the right medicine. For someone already working long hours and stuck, being told to do ten times more does not explain why the work is not producing.
The verdict
Good value if you sell for a living and need technique and a push. Treat any investment offer as a separate decision and take independent advice on it.
If the problem is not knowing what to do
Business teachers assume that once you know the steps you will take them. If you already know the steps and something in you keeps not taking them, that is a different subject. The best free training we have found on it is Your Wish Is Your Command.
